Every Sunday, while most restaurants prepare for another day of service, Chef Jeremy Wolgamott closes The Grandview in Olde Town Arvada and heads to the Arvada Farmers Market.
It’s not a day off—it’s how next week’s menu begins.
Wolgamott spent 14 years cooking in New Orleans before returning to his Colorado roots to bring the spirit and flavor of the South to The Grandview, serving timeless dishes that feel right at home in this historic neighborhood tavern.
“It was kind of a happy coincidence that it was so close to home, but this is my neighborhood, so it’s fun to be part of the neighborhood,” he says.
Sundays Spent Local
Wolgamott closes on Sunday to attend the farmers market because he loves getting local ingredients. He says the ingredients tell the story of the neighborhood just as much as the restaurant itself.
“I also feel, selfishly, it makes my job easier as a cook because if you have really good ingredients, you just have to not mess it up,” Wolgamott explains.
