Apex is Reshaping How Local Residents Participate in Recreation in the New Year, Bringing Silicon Valley-level Innovation to Everyday Community Life

Apex Park and Recreation District is rolling out a high-tech upgrade designed to make it easier than ever for residents to stay active and connected this year. On February 4, Apex will launch a new mobile-friendly registration system allowing residents to discover, book, and pay for classes, camps, and facilities straight from their phones — think ordering an Uber or booking a dinner reservation with the click of a button, but for pickleball, swim lessons, youth sports, and fitness classes. Powered by Rec Technologies, a recreation software company founded by former Uber and Google leaders, the platform brings Silicon Valley-style convenience to local parks and programs, helping families spend less time registering and more time playing in the new year.

The new platform represents the future of recreation in Colorado and a commitment from Apex to ensure accessibility and ease-of-use for its residents by investing in tools that make it easier for them to engage in physical, social, and emotional wellness activities in the new year.
