DENVER (KDVR) — What was once a spot for a gas station in Arvada is now opening as a beer garden worth millions, with a particular emphasis on “garden.”
The Arvada Urban Renewal Authority said it helped turn what was formerly a gas station site located at the corner of a mostly vacant strip mall into a $6 million beer garden as part of the project renovating Ralston Creek.
Now, Arvada Beer Garden sits at 9258 W. 58th Pl. in the Grace Place neighborhood. While this is only a few blocks down from Ralston Central Park, you won’t have to go that far for nature, as most of the beer garden will be outside.
City Street Investors, who also worked on the project, said the outside will be “lush and gorgeous” with a more “botanical approach” with 44 trees, each of which one of the owners personally hand-selected, and 1,034 flowering shrubs and perennials.
