Lost Coffee Announces May 4 Arvada Opening
Kitsap Sun | April 24, 2026
Lost Coffee, a Colorado-based specialty coffee roaster and café, has announced an opening date of May 4, 2026 for its sixth location, situated at 8290 W 80th Ave Unit 1 in Arvada. The opening marks the company’s continued expansion across the Denver metro area and brings its combination of ethically sourced, freshly roasted coffee and community-centered café experience to a new market within the region.
The Arvada opening represents the latest chapter in a growth trajectory that began in 2010 when founder Scott Gaerte launched Lost Coffee as a food truck before establishing its first brick-and-mortar café the following year. The company has since expanded to five operating locations across Castle Rock, Aurora, Littleton, and two sites in Highlands Ranch, while simultaneously growing its wholesale presence, launching direct-to-consumer online sales, and securing retail placement in Whole Foods and local grocery stores throughout Colorado.
“The Arvada community has been on our radar for some time, and we are looking to be open to the public on May 4th,” said Scott Gaerte, founder of Lost Coffee. “We are a family-owned company, and our coffee is sourced from family farms at origin, roasted with care, and delivered to our communities in that same spirit. We look forward to becoming a part of Arvada and partnering with The Bridge to bring something meaningful to this neighborhood.”
