Five Fun and FREE Things to Do in Arvada This Summer

We love Arvada year-round but it is especially robust in the summer. And it can be even better, when you can enjoy it without spending a lot of money. Read on to learn five free things you can do in Arvada this summer!

1. Join Bike Friendly Arvada for one of their weekend community bike rides. Burn some calories, learn a new route and meet some new friends in Arvada!

2. Enjoy multiple bands under the stars during Olde Town Arvada’s Summer Concert Series and Street Festival. The festivities take place the second Saturday in June, July and August from 5pm – 10pm. Don’t miss the artisan vendors and Kids’ Zone.

3. Ranked as one of the best Farmer’s Markets in the metro Denver area, the Arvada Farmers Market is must for your summer Sunday morning routine. The Market runs from June 5 – September 25, 9am – 1:30pm in the Olde Town Arvada Square, 57th and Olde Wadsworth Blvd. And, there is plenty of FREE parking in the Olde Town HUB just a couple of blocks away. 4. Top Gun, Field of Dreams and The School of Rock…what do they all have in common? They are just a few of the featured titles that will be featured this summer in the popular “Movies Around Town” series, hosted by the Arvada Festivals Commission.

5. Your Thursday nights just got better! Head to McIlvoy Park, 5750 Upham Street, for Apex’s Annual Summer Concert Series. A great way to spend time with friends and family while winding down your week listening to live music in a beautiful park setting.
