Olde Town Arvada

Saturday, November 27th, all day: Small Business Saturday Kick-off/Tree Lighting
Kick Off Small Business Saturday with the businesses of Olde Town beginning at 10:30am in the Olde Town Square! FREE coffee from Hunter Bay Coffee Roasters Arvada and FREE breakfast tacos from School House Kitchen and Libations for the first 100 people who stop by to see us. There will also be the opportunity to register-to-win prizes! Shop Small. Shop Local.

After a day of shopping, join us for the Annual Olde Town Tree Lighting by the Mayor. The celebration will begin with a holiday march through the streets of Olde Town as businesses turn on their holiday lights beginning at 5:00PM at Carly's Boutique. This will be followed by festivities in the Square including hot cocoa, give-aways and the lighting of our beloved Olde Town Tree at 6:00PM!

December 4th, 11th and 18th, 12pm - 3pm: Saturdays with Santa

Santa in Arvada, CO

Here is your free and FUN opportunity to see the big man in RED! Santa will be in the Olde Town Arvada Square (57th and Olde Wadsworth Blvd) from 12pm - 3pm on Dec. 4th, 11th and 18th.

And, don't miss the Olde Town Holiday Market from 11am - 3pm.

The Holiday Market will feature dozens of vendors with handmade gifts and toys as well as great local food! Don't miss locally handcrafted candles, clothes, jewelry and soaps as well as hard to find sauces and mixes for the perfect holiday meal. The Holiday Market is a partnership with the Arvada Farmers Market.

Saturdays with Santa is brought to you by the Olde Town Arvada Business Improvement District.

December 6th, 5pm - 8pm: Lagniappe and Olde Town Eggnog & Cider Competition
Head to Olde Town for a true hometown holiday experience. Celebrate the tradition of Lagniappe (lawn-yap), as businesses stay open late and thank loyal customers with a special gift with purchase.

Take part in the annual Eggnog & Cider Competition. Buy your pass and visit participating businesses for samples of eggnog and cider around Olde Town, then vote for your favorite!

November 26 – December 19: Olde Town Holiday Makers Market
Olde Town will be hosting their first-ever Holiday Makers Market this year! With street closures, outdoor activations, and open container ordinances in effect, we are thrilled to continue making Olde Town Arvada a holiday destination for the whole family! Local makers and artists are excited to show the community their talents and provide a unique gift buying opportunity. The market will begin on Friday, November 26th, and run each weekend through December 19th.

Hours for the event: Fridays (4-8 pm), Saturdays, and Sundays (11-6 pm).

November 26 - December 31: Outdoor Curling and Mini-Golf – Fun for the entire Family!
Time to enjoy a bit of outdoor fun, Arvada-style! Beginning on Black Friday (November 26th) you can experience Olde Town like never before with fire pits, a curling rink and a 9-hole miniature golf course all happening within the newly created pedestrian mall. Stop by the Olde Town Square (57th and Olde Wadsworth Blvd) to rent your clubs and balls or curling set and then get ready enjoy these one-of-a-kind experiences under the lights of Olde Town. The cost of mini-golf is $5 per child under 12 and $6 per adult, or rent our curling rink for group play at a cost of $25 for a 45 minute session. Once you've finished playing, warm up by one of the fire pits before shopping at our dozens of unique shops, galleries and boutiques.

Sippin' Santa at the Arvada Tavern

November 29 – December 30: NOEL at the Bluegrass Coffee & Bourbon Bar
The 3rd Annual Christmas Pop-Up Bar- NOEL the Bluegrass starts on November 29th and runs through the month of December. Patrons can enjoy a majestic winter wonderland accompanied with fun events (Ugly Sweater Karaoke, Wreath Making),  holiday themed cocktails and snacks, and 50,000 Christmas lights! Apex Park and Recreation District

December 4, 9am – 11am, Santa Pajama Party
Come dressed in your favorite jammies, visit with Santa, and enjoy crafts, games, and more. Skate on our indoor synthetic ice rink, sip on hot cocoa, and nibble on donuts. Fees: Ages 2-12, $7/person, ages 13 and up, $5/person, and children under 2 are free. Children must be accompanied by a paying adult. Stop by any time between 9-11:30 a.m. to participate. December 10, 5pm - 9pm: Parents Night Out
Parents, need a night out? Our certified Camp Apex staff is here for your childcare needs year-round! Join us on the second Friday of each month at the Apex Center – the kids get an evening filled with swimming, crafts, dancing, and dinner is included, all while you get to have a night out to catch up on errands, dinner plans, or just relax! Santa Claus will be making a special trip to visit the Apex Center! Enjoy cookies, hot chocolate and a holiday craft with the jolly man in red and don’t forget to take your picture with him before he flies back to the North Pole. Registration is required, but you can drop-in at any time during the hour you register for to avoid long lines.

December 14, 1pm - 2:30pm: Winter Ball
The weather outside may be frightful, but this Winter Ball planned especially for our preschool-aged friends will be so delightful! Dress up in your favorite holiday attire and meet Ms. Clause, play games, write letters to Santa, and decorate cupcakes. Children take part in this event without a parent. Complete details HERE.

December 17, 10:15am – 12:15pm, Active Adult – Holiday Cheer Bags
Need a little holiday cheer? Apex has partnered with Brookdale, Gardens at St. Elizabeth, Humana, Mountain Vista Senior Living, Optimal Aging Medicare Solutions, SCL Health/Lutheran Medical Center, and Integrity Insurance to put some simple bags together that have resources and a variety of treats. Sign up for these FREE bags by December 10, then come by the Community Recreation Center, 6842 Wadsworth Blvd., on Friday December 17, between 10:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m. to get your gift bag directly from Mr. and Mrs. Claus. Bring your camera for a photo opportunity. Enjoy wintery fun on Saturday, December 18 from 5-8 p.m. Admission includes a campfire mug, hot chocolate, candy cane, Kona Ice, create a snowman, games, and 3 hours of exclusive swimming at Apex Center’s indoor pools. Join Queen Frostine and her fellow Candyland crew in a family-friendly, fun-filled afternoon. With a Gumdrop Dance Party, Peppermint Forest gymnastics open play, and a Princess Lolly lollipop craft there is sure to be fun for the entire family. Plus, guests will be entertained by a special holiday performance of the Simms Street Mini Dance Troupe. All ages are welcome, and pricing includes up to four family members. The 35th Annual Fine Art Market features over 1,200 affordable items of original art from 70+ Colorado artists across giftable categories like jewelry, ceramics, ornaments, fiber, woodworking, painting, drawing, prints, glass, and mixed media works. 

Your purchases matters! Every sale directly supports Colorado artists, the Arvada Center Galleries, and the Arvada Center’s Ceramics Education programs.
