All Season

  • Olde Town Arvada Holiday Market | Olde Town | Saturdays 11am to 3pm. Celebrate the season with local artists and vendors in a festive holiday market.

  • Saturdays with Santa | Olde Town | Saturdays from noon to 3pm. Don't miss your chance to meet Santa for FREE! Santa will be spreading cheer in Olde Town Arvada Square from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm on December 6, 13, and 20. Every child who visits Santa will receive a complimentary cookie from Rheinlander Bakery to add a touch of sweetness to their holiday season!

  • Disney’s Frozen | Arvada Center | November 21 to January 4. A longtime family favorite, Disney’s Frozen tells a story of sisterhood, friendship, and self-acceptance. From the award-winning soundtrack to beloved characters, Disney’s Frozen is a must-see winter-time classic. 

  • Olde Town Skating Rink | Olde Town Square | Open November 26, hours vary. This is your chance to enjoy skating under the lights of the Olde Town Tree.

  • Fine Art Market | Arvada Center | November 28 to December 14. Shop thousands of giftable items like jewelry, ceramics, ornaments, paintings, cards, and more from over 100 Colorado artists! Your purchases directly support the artists and the Arvada Center Galleries. Hours: Wednesday/Thursday 12 to 7:30pm, Friday/Saturday: 10am to 7:30pm, Sunday: 1 to 5pm.

  • Holiday Pottery Sale | Arvada Center | November 28 to December 14. Shop here for holiday gifts and support the artists and the Arvada Center. Hours: Monday to Saturday: 10am to 8pm, Sundays: 1 to 5pm.

  • Send your Letters to Santa! | Apex Center | November 28 to December 12. Watch for the mailbox located upstairs at Guest Services at the Apex Center, write your letter (bonus points for getting creative and decorating it), put it in an envelope with your return address (no stamp necessary) and drop it off in the mailbox during operating hours. Each night, Santa's helpers will get your letters to the North Pole. Letters must be in Santa's mailbox by December 12 to reach the North Pole.

  • Sippin’ Santa Pop-Up Bar at Bernard’s Tiki Room | Arvada Tavern | November 28 to December 31; hours vary. Sippin' Santa is a tropical 21 and up Christmas extravaganza at Bernard's Tiki Room (enter through the phone booth at The Arvada Tavern)! Immerse yourself in the holiday spirit with Christmas-themed tiki drinks, served in whimsical mugs available for purchase.

  • NOEL Pop-Up Bar at Bluegrass | December 1-31. So many fun holiday events! This popular holiday Christmas bar is celebrating its 6th year!

NOVEMBER

November 28

Wreath Making Workshop | Echters | 4pm to 5pm. Create your own holiday wreath in this festive, hands-on workshop. Registration includes a wreath form, holiday greens, pinecones, and ornaments. Bring your own wreath swag to personalize your design! Pruners will be provided, and additional decor will be available for purchase in the store.

November 29

Trot & Tap 5k | Colorado Tap House | 10am to 1pm. Work off all that turkey and pie, then grab a beer! All participants will get a FREE craft brew, a slice of pie and more!

Visit with Santa! | Echters | 1pm to 4pm. Celebrate the joy of the season with a visit from Santa! Create family memories and enjoy free photo opportunities among the poinsettias, with Buford the topiary reindeer, in Echter's iconic holiday sleigh, and with Santa Claus himself. Children can write holiday wishlists and enjoy coloring activities while awaiting Santa's arrival.

Olde Town Arvada Annual Tree Lighting | Olde Town Arvada | 2pm to 8pm. Festivities kick off at 2:00 pm with a lively pop-up makers' market with Local Artisan Vendors, bars, and Skating in the Square. The evening's music will start with a festive march led by the brass band Guerrilla Fanfare through the streets of Olde Town. The march will start at 5:00 pm in front of Bluegrass. Guerrilla Fanfare will guide us back to the square, before the grand tree lighting at 6:00 pm! Following the tree lighting, enjoy music from BFlatirons as you explore Olde Town businesses and our Holiday Pop-up Market too for unique shopping experiences for everyone on your Holiday Gift List. Don't miss this joyous annual celebration!

Holiday Gnomes Workshop | Echters | 4pm to 5pm. Add some whimsical cheer to your porch or home with a festive evergreen gnome! All materials are included in registration but feel free to bring additional "swag" for decorating. Pruners will be provided for each class and additional decor will be available for purchase in the store.

Get Lit | School House Kitchen and Libations | 5:30pm. Watch the Olde Town tree lighting from the roof at a viewing party. And the first 30 rooftop guests before 6pm will enjoy a free hot drink!

November 30

Grinch Tree Workshop | Echters | 11am to 12pm. Get into the festive spirit by crafting your own Grinch Tree! In this hands-on workshop, you’ll create a whimsical holiday tree using fresh, fragrant greens. All materials are provided, including greens, ornaments, and a container. Pruners will be provided, and additional decor will be available for purchase in-store to make your creation truly stand out.

DECEMBER

December 1

Whiskey Advent Calendar | School House Kitchen & Libations | December 1-24. Enjoy a different ½ priced whiskey every day, December 1-24, and pick up an advent calendar card to track your tastings and win prizes!

December 2

Active Adult - Holiday Hoedown | Community Rec Center | 10am to 11:30am. Kick up your boots and enjoy holiday cheer with music, hearty refreshments, and special surprises from our Active Adult sponsors to brighten your season. Grab your camera to get a photo with Mr. and Mrs. Claus. Don’t miss this jolly good time.

Wreath Making Workshop | Bluegrass Olde Town | 6pm to 9pm. Blow your neighbor’s minds with the best wreath on the block! Get festive with us as you learn to hand-tie your very own holiday wreath. Don your door, mantle, or whatever you fancy. Our talented instructors will lead you through the process as you choose from the wreath bar full of a variety of fresh greenery, flowers, branches, cones, pods, and more.

December 3

Build Your Own Gingerbread House | Freedom Street Social | 4pm to 8pm. Who doesn’t love a Gingerbread house? Get into the spirit with some light construction.

Special Time with Santa | Apex | 5:30pm to 7pm. A special time slot just for people with disabilities, featuring a quiet environment, treats to eat, and games and activities to enjoy. Santa will be there for people of all ages to interact with, take a picture with, or just view from afar. Registration is required, but you can drop in at any time during the 90-minute time slot.

December 4

Whiskey Wonderland Ugly Sweater Party | Secret Level | 5pm to 9pm. Get ready for an ugly sweater party like no other! Tickets include whiskey tastings and shared appetizers.

December 5

Repeal Day | Talnua Distillery | 3pm to 10pm. Raise a glass and toast to 92 years of freedom! This December 5th, we're celebrating Repeal Day with an evening of spirited fun featuring an exclusive Prohibition-era cocktail menu. There will also be fresh oyster shucking. This is a 21+ event.

First Friday Shrinky Dink Crafting Night | Secret Level | 5pm to 10pm. Get a jump on your Christmas ornaments! Supplies provided to help you make our own tiny, heartfelt holiday art.

Holiday Market | Odyssey Beerwerks | 5:30pm to 9pm. Join in the festive fun at one of Arvada’s favorite breweries!

Pride Night - Winter Wonderland | Seacrest Rec Center | 6pm to 9:30pm. It’s a winter wonderland-themed night. This is an event exclusively for LGBTQ+ teens and their allies. Participants are encouraged to reach beyond their comfort zone and join their peers in a safe and engaging environment. 

December 6

Grinchmas | Community Rec Center | 9:30am to 11:30am. The Grinch is throwing a party. Will he be naughty or nice? Come and enjoy crafts, games, and more. Jump in the bounce house, sip hot cocoa, and nibble on snacks. Fees: Ages 2-12, $13/person; ages 13 and up, $2/person; and children under 2 are free. Children must be accompanied by a paying adult. Stop by any time between 9:30-11:30 am to participate. Register by December 3. No tickets are sold at the door.

Breakfast with Santa | School House Kitchen & Libations | 10am to 12pm. Bring your cameras so you don’t miss Santa Claus! He’ll be making a special stop. Free to all guests dining in the restaurant.

Dickens Christmas Experience | Arvada United Methodist Church | 10:30am to 4:30pm. Don't be a scrooge! Join in the fun at the third annual Dickens Christmas Experience. This all-ages event celebrates the holiday season with musical performances, children’s crafts, theatrical guides and skits, professional photos with Victorian Santa, holiday stew and other festive bites, a gift market with local vendors/artisans, and more- there will be holiday enjoyment for all!

Gingerbread Building | Fitzmorris Elementary School | 1pm to 2:30pm. Get in the holiday spirit and join us for an afternoon of gingerbread house building, cookies, and hot chocolate. All supplies will be provided. Holiday fun.

Holiday Maker’s Market | Talnua Distillery | 1pm to 5pm. Sip while you shop the hand crafted gifts created by talented makers. We'll have local artisans with handmade jewelry, pottery, fine art, and more. Fantastic food truck fare will also be available, so come and make a day of it!

Holiday Family Paint and Sip | Standley Lake Library | 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm | Decorate for the holidays with your family! Spend a cozy afternoon painting your own wooden holiday ornaments. Sip on cocoa and get into the festive spirit while you craft.

Arvada Chorale: A Brass Celebration! | Peace Lutheran Church | 3pm to 5pm. The Arvada Chorale is bringing the joy of the season to life in our annual holiday concert! This year, we’ll be joined by the brilliance of a live brass ensemble, filling the hall with warmth, sparkle, and festive cheer. At the heart of the program is John Rutter’s radiant Gloria—a dazzling masterpiece of choral music. You’ll also enjoy a selection of beloved holiday works.

December 7

Rescue Puppy Yoga | Pet Wants Olde Town | 10am. Rescue Puppy Yoga finds fosters, funds and forever homes for animals in need. Come meet some puppies and give the down dog a whole new meaning! Class starts at 10am, feel free to arrive 10-15 minutes early to get settled before the lesson begins!

Holiday Fair | Colorado Tap House | 10am to 5pm | A day of wintery fun! They’ll have a craft fair, FREE DIY crafts to take home, sleigh rides, carolers and more! And, don’t miss a visit from Santa!

Holiday Market | Fade it Golf and Social Club | 11am to 4pm. Join in the festive fun with a food truck, holiday drinks and unique gifts! Additional dates: December 13.

Holiday Wreath Making | The TRN | 12pm. A fun and festive Holiday Wreath Workshop where you'll learn how to create your own beautiful wreath to decorate your home! Hosted by the TRN and Happy Hoe Floral.

Santa Paws | Echters | 1pm to 4pm. Bring your furry friends to visit Santa! Create memories with the whole family and enjoy free photo opportunities among the poinsettias, with Buford the topiary reindeer, in Echter's iconic holiday sleigh, and with Santa Claus himself. This event is free to attend, but we encourage attendees to bring a non-perishable food donation to share with the Community Table food bank.

Flower Crown and Wreath Making Workshops | Ethan’s Gallery and Studio | 12pm to 2pm. Join them for a fun and creative workshop where you can learn how to make your own beautiful flower crowns and wreaths! Perfect for the holidays! Additional dates: December 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14.

December 8

10th Annual Olde Town Arvada Cider & Eggnog Competition | Olde Town | 5pm to 8pm. Head to Arvada for one of the best nights of the year: cider vs. eggnog! Tickets will be available starting Wednesday, November 12 at noon. Participating businesses will be offering samples of their eggnog and cider creations. After savoring these delicious concoctions, you will be able to cast your vote for your favorite one. Don't miss this chance to celebrate the holiday season in the most delicious way possible. This event will sell out, be sure to reserve yours early. 

Lagniappe | Olde Town | 5pm to 8pm. A delightful evening in Olde Town as we celebrate the tradition of Lagniappe! Experience the warmth of the holiday season as our local businesses extend their hours and express gratitude to their customers with special gifts with purchase.

December 9

December Story Time | Freedom Street Social | 9:00am. Enjoy Family Story Time at Freedom Street Social. It’s reading fun for everyone! Gather the whole family for engaging stories, dancing, singing, and rhyming. Hosted by Jefferson County Public Library and Coffee & Crumble.

December 10

Build Your Own Gingerbread House | Freedom Street Social | 4pm to 8pm.

Bonsai Workshop | Denver Beer Co | 6:30pm to 8:30pm. Give yourself an early gift! Grab your friends, grab a drink and come make tiny trees! We’re bringing the awesome art of bonsai out of the hedged-in gardens and into the streets!

December 11

Hazel Miller and the Collective: Christmas with Soul | Arvada Center | 6pm and 8pm shows. Don’t miss a Gospel-inspired jazzy Christmas concert. All your favorite holiday songs are presented from their original point of view. This concert is pure“Holiday Spirit.

December 12

Ugly Sweater Stocking Crafting Night | Super Zoom Bang Bang | 5pm to 8pm. Decorate Christmas stockings at this free event, then drop your stocking off at Sock to participate in the Ugly Christmas Stocking contest and compete to win prizes! All supplies will be provided.

Perler Bead Crafting Night | Secret Level | 5pm to 9pm. Get your Christmas crafting on with a free, all-ages crafting night featuring retro Perler Bead ornaments.

Brunch with Santa | Freedom Street Social | 9am to 1pm. Catch Santa while you can. And grab brunch while you’re there!

Breakfast with Santa | School House Kitchen & Libations | 10am to 12pm. Don’t forget to bring your cameras because Santa Claus is making a special stop at School House! Free to all guests dining in the restaurant.

Drag Queen Story Time | Arvada Center | 10am. This enchanting event sparkles with snowflakes, laughter, and wintry magic. Dressed in her dazzling ice-queen finery, Miss Shirley will share some of her favorite storybooks, perfect for children of all ages.

Holiday Centerpiece Workshop | Echters | 4pm to 5pm. In this festive make-and-take workshop, create a beautiful, fresh evergreen centerpiece to fill your home with holiday cheer. Our instructors will guide you through arranging seasonal greens, pinecones, ornaments, and decorative picks. All materials are included.

Holiday Sing Along with Bunny Blake | Freedom Street Social | 6pm to 9pm. Enjoy a cozy night filled with a mix of Bunny’s fan favorites and beloved holiday classics that’ll have you singing along all evening.

Holiday Drag Show | Marmalade Lounge and Boutique | 7pm to 9pm. Get ready to sleigh the season with a night of glamour, laughter, and holiday cheer! Join the fabulous Talia Tucker and dazzling Lulu Krystals for a festive drag show that’ll light up your December like a disco ball on a Christmas tree.

Ugly Sweater Karaoke & Arcade Party | Secret Level | 8pm to 12am. Get festive with a night of karaoke, arcade games and ugly Christmas sweaters!

December 14

Cookies with Santa | Apex | 9am to 10:50am. Santa Claus will make a special trip to the Apex Center. Enjoy cookies, hot chocolate, and a holiday craft with the jolly man in red and remember to take your picture with him before he flies back to the North Pole. Registration is required, but you can drop in anytime during your registered time to avoid long lines.

December 16

Story Time with Santa | Freedom Street Social | 9am. Santa will be reading holiday stories and will stick around after for photos with all the kids. Come early, grab a cozy drink from Coffee & Crumble, and enjoy a festive start to your day filled with joy, laughter, and holiday cheer!

December 17

Holiday Book Club | Freedom Street Social | 7pm to 8pm. In conjunction with the incredible staff at the Jefferson County Public Library, Freedom Street Social is hosting a monthly book club.  December’s theme is Bring Your Favorite Holiday Book to Share.  

Build Your Own Gingerbread House | Freedom Street Social | 4pm to 8pm.

December 19

Community Movie Series, The Grinch | Apex Center | 6:30pm to 8:30pm. Spend a perfect family-friendly evening enjoying this holiday classic.

December 20

Breakfast with Santa | School House Kitchen & Libations | 10am to 12pm. Last chance to catch the big guy before his big day. Free to anyone dining in the restaurant.

Hip Hop Holiday Brunch | Freedom Street Social | 11am. Enjoy a delicious brunch and some great tunes before the holiday madness.

December 21

Breakfast with Santa | Arvada Beer Garden | 9am to 11am. Santa, pancakes for the kids, breakfast burritos, Bloody Marys and mimosas for the adults, what else could you want? Reservations open December 1.

Winter Wonderland Bash | Simms St. Rec Center Apex | 1:30pm to 3pm AND 3:30pm to 5pm. There will be a ninja course, open gymnastics, bounce houses, games, crafts, photo opportunities, temporary tattoos, winter goodies, and more.

December 31

Noon Year’s Eve | Apex | 11am to 12:30pm. Do you want to celebrate New Year’s Eve with your little one but not stay up until midnight? Celebrate with us on December 31 for Noon Year’s Eve. We will have music, games, a bounce house, and a balloon drop at 12 pm to start 2026 off right. Spots are limited, so early registration is recommended.

New Year’s Eve Party | Freedom Street Social | 6pm to 1am. This free event will feature a DJ, face painter, balloon artist, and TWO balloon drops, one at 10pm and one at midnight.

NYE Karaoke & Arcade Party | Secret Level | 8pm. Ring in the New Year with a night of karaoke and arcade games!

New Year’s Eve Party | School House Kitchen & Libations | 9pm. dance into the new year with a live dj, no cover and plenty of whiskey!
