Arvada’s annual celebration of its small businesses is set for Nov. 27, as Small Business Saturday returns as the kickoff of the holiday season in Olde Town.

The celebration will begin around 10:30 a.m. and wrap up with a Christmas tree lighting in Olde Town Square, which will take place at 6 p.m.

For Small Business Saturday, the first 100 visitors to the square will be treated to free coffee from Hunter Bay. Free chicken chunks from Secret Level will also be offered.

“We really view Small Business Saturday as the official kick-off to the holiday season in Olde Town,” Olde Town Business Improvement District Director Joe Hengstler said. “This time of year is critical for small businesses everywhere, and Small Business Saturday is an opportunity to remind the public of the importance of spending your dollars locally and supporting our local economy.”
