Coming soon to a park near you! Movies Around Town is excited to return in 2022. Grab a blanket, some snacks, and bring the family to enjoy free movies at some of Arvada’s favorite parks.
Free Garden Classes Selected Wednesdays, 6pm | Arvada Gardeners - O
Topics include Starting Plants, Cold Frames, Onions, Beginner Gardening, Soil, Compost, Beekeeping, Containers, Tomatoes, Tool Care, Herbs, Bugs, Seed Saving, Preserving and Turf Care.
Selected weekend rides in Arvada through October Bicycle Friendly Arvada (BFA) is proud to lead fun, organized bike rides all around the community from April into October each year. These rides are geared for cyclists of all levels with a focus on children, families and casual/recreational riders. There will be 5-7 mile Family Rides and 12-20 mile Recreation Rides.
All rides have a theme which include Coffee, Ice Cream, Hot Chocolate, Buffalo Bill, Community Gardens, Arvada History, Brewery, Pizza, Graveyards and many more. We will also have a bike corral at several Arvada Festivals.

Olde Town Arvada’s Second Saturday Concert Series and Street Festival is returning for its 10th Anniversary! This series promises to deliver with a phenomenal line-up of bands, craft vendors and fun for the whole family with the historic streets of Olde Town providing the perfect backdrop
Arvada Farmer’s Market, June 5 – September 25 | Sundays 9am – 1:30pm | Olde Town Square - K, O, S
The Arvada Farmer’s Market will be returning to the Town Square every Sunday this summer with a variety of local Colorado products and fresh produce including fresh fruits and vegetables, meats, cheeses, bread, baked goods, sweets, juices, kombucha, tea, pickles, dips, sauces, salsas, tamales, body care, plants, pottery, candles, jewelry, clothing and more. Featuring more than 50 vendors each week, you’ll see why the Arvada Farmers Market has been a community staple since 2009.

Arvada on Tap (AOT) is a fun outlet for craft beer and BBQ sampling! AOT features craft breweries, food trucks, vendors, live music, an Amateur BBQ Competition, and more!

This is a new event for Apex involving a fun and complex Ninja course at the Apex Field House. Sessions will be organized by age.

Since 1979, the City of Arvada has celebrated Independence Day with a spectacular fireworks display at the Stenger Sports Complex, 11200 W. 58th Avenue.
Apex Kids’ TRYathlon, July 10 | Apex Center - K, O
Kids put their endurance and skills to the test in this fun event the whole family can enjoy. Participants begin with an indoor swim at the Apex Center, hop on their bike for some off-road cycling on the Ralston Creek Trail, then run to the finish line to join their friends and family
Taste of Arvada, July 21 | 5-8pm | Apex Center - O, A
Taste of Arvada 2022, hosted by the Arvada Chamber of Commerce, features offerings from more than 70 Denver Metro and Arvada restaurants, bars, bakeries, craft breweries, and distilleries. The event also features live music, food trucks, and art vendors. In addition, restaurant and bar vendors will compete for coveted prizes in their categories, voted on by attendees.

Free Chili Roasting and Apple Pressing, Sept 17, 8am to noon | Arvada Gardeners - K, O, S
You bring your own chilis to the garden and we will roast them on our chili roaster and bag them for you. And you can also bring apples and bottles or jars and we will press the apples into juice with our apple press for you.
